Sweden is known for many amazing metal bands, Entombed, Graveyard, Monolord, to name a few...now Firebreather can be added to the list. The 3rd album from this crew, 'Dwell In The Fog',consists of 6 slabs of amazing catchy heaviness. Sick riffs abound in pools of cymbals, rumbling bass, and thundering vocals. The lineup change of new bassist Nicklas Hellqvist on this album really increases the speaker tsunami crushing on this offering. Firebreather speaks of dimensions, while grooves give way to epic reverb-soaked leads dripping with sustain, before what sounds like a Viking invasion knocking walls down, or maybe a truck engine throwing a rod. I know it's early in the year, but this is already on my list for best of 2022,
