Valis might just sound like a spacey version of Fu Manchu, with some old Pink Floyd mixed in at first, but that's a bit too limiting. In fact, Valis are in a world all their own, filled with fuzzy guitars, rock n' roll, and wah pedals. "Across The Sky", is straight 60's-70's influenced Led Zeppelin-esque goodness, while "Perpetual Motion Machine" has a riff that's straight out of the book of Black Sabbath. But you've got to hear their classic stoner rock sound for yourself.
