In fact, Valis are in a world all their own, filled with fuzzy guitars, rock n' roll, and wah pedals. "Across The Sky", is straight 60's-70's influenced Led Zeppelin-esque goodness, while "Perpetual Motion Machine" has a riff that's straight out of the book of Black Sabbath.
