When tracing the roots of stoner rock one can site the obvious grand daddy's of them all, Black Sabbath. But next in line would be the current godfather of all that is stoner rock, Wino. His influence reaches far and wide in today's underground scene, and several of his projects have set the tone for bong-influenced heavy music. One such project would be the recently defunct Spirit Caravan. "The Last Embrace" is a 2cd collection of all the essential goodies that this band has blessed our ears with over the years. Out of print, re-mastered, un-released, and alternate versions of groovin' heavy goodness. A must have for fans of anything stoner, go check it out.
