Brutal. That best describes the new Sourvein album. Sourvein has always had that crushingly crusty southern sludge sound goin' on, but this album just sounds like a Mack truck in 2nd gear digging itself deeper and deeper into a mud pit. It's that kind of heavy. In true Sourvein fashion the vocals are gravel and the riffs of the highest slow moving, groovy quality. It's doomy, it's dreary, it's fantastic.
