I can't say I was too excited about hearing the new Soulfly at first...another line-up change, another try at mixing metal with everything under the sun. This one came out pretty well. Sure, there are the standard 'let's be metal' tracks like "Prophecy" and "Born Again Anarchist" which basically sound like Roots-era Sepultura riffs (mmm...Sepultura). "Mars" is instant classic Soulfly, and "Porrada" just screams old-school. But the music that ISN'T metal is what makes this album good. "Moses" is a killer dub track. The cover of Helmet's "In The Meantime" is great, check it out.
