First impression, this is insane...it's like Sunn O))) meets Godflesh, intense, heavy, industrial doom. Like Ministry on a bad qualude bender, they're slowed down a bit, but still dangerous. It's mostly instrumental, but there are the occasional twisted, wretched, distorted screams emerging beneath a dense wall of coarse guitars and bass bathed in a tar-like mess of overdriven amplification. I think the most amazing thing is that this is actually a re-release, this album originally came out in 1992 on Justin Broadrick's HeadDirt label. If only I'd known about it then...one wonders what other goodies Crucial Blast will unearth and re-release for our currenty doomy enlightenment.
