Skinlab have just delivered the huge chunky Bay Area metal slab we've been depraved of for some time now. "Revolting Room" oozes with crunch and melody. Soon to be classic riffs strike from everywhere. Tracks like "Come Get It", and "Slave The Way" pound with intensity and sheer heaviness, while "Never Give In" and "Purify" swirl around in a fury of sound. "Jesus Sells" has downright haunting vocals. This album no doubt harkens back to Machine Head's "Burn My Eyes" sound of yore. Quite possibly the best Skinlab album yet, but couldn't they have used some other effect on the voice messages at the end?...damn that's annoying.
