A musical tribute to the Hero's journey, as illustrated by Joseph Campbell. There aren't many modern bands who can recreate the fuzzed out "acid" rock sound of the late 1960's/ early 70's, but I have to hand it to this Minneapolis combo for coming awfully damn close. It harkens back to that great era of musical pioneering and experimentation, but doesn't sound dated in a "let's play really loud, write lyrics about esoteric things and see what happens" kind of way.
Sight are very focused and intentional- a bit like a polished, well disciplined Sir Lord Baltimore, albeit with less emphasis on the rock n roll swagger of SLB.
