Hibernaculum and The Bees Made Honey in the Lions Skull were pretty much masterpieces for whatever the hell genre of music you'd call this. Although Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light doesn't quite feng shui the dust particles in my living room like those 2 albums do, Earth have done a fine job of creating more 'sink into the infinite depths of your couch while staring off into space' music. It's a basic continuation of the Earth theme of the last few albums, sloooooow timing, one main riff for 9 minutes, lots of wah pedal, tremolo, and ride cymbal. Mellow, spacey, almost relaxing? I donno, I could see getting a Reiki massage to this.
