In the last Down review (IV part I) I said they were getting better with age like a fine wine...I take it back. IV part II doesn't quite live up to the auditory glory of part I to put it mildly. Kirk Winstein's absence on guitar seems to have taken a toll, and Phil is losing his voice. Sad but true, and hard to hide on recordings anymore. There are a few 'decent' tunes on this EP, but overall it's a letdown compared to previous efforts. Almost everything is there for a stellar Down album, but it just didn't gel this time. A dissapointment to hear as a Down fan.
