Like fellow atmospheric locals Tides, and Ocean, Disappearer make a song into a fucking sound landscape, a musical trip of sorts. There are ebbs and flows, peaks and deep dark depths. It's mellow, deep, original, and yet so heavy. And it's completely instrumental. I've had a 2 song demo/EP from this three-piece for awhile, so "Rust/Dust" and "Universal Fog" are nothing new, but the first song, "Crownfire", which clocks in at over 12 minutes, is a pleasant surprise.
