'Blast Tyrant' is no exception. Once again the band have managed to sound fresh while dabbling in just about every style they've ever messed with...maybe more. It's funky, it's bluesy, it just plain rocks. As usual, Neil Fallon takes the listener on an strange lyrical journey with characters pulled out of the creative depths of god-knows-where. Organs swirl, the bass thumps, guitars groove, all setting the mood for a serious head trip, Clutch-style, while words of wisdom like "Everybody move to Canada, smoke lots of pot, everybody move to Canada right now" pour forth from your speakers.
