Cannibal Corpse. A band that seems to be the very face of death metal itself. Still caving in skulls for well over ten years, GORE OBSESSED keeps up the tradition. Delving back into their older sound from the early 90's, Cannibal brings out an album stocked full of prime riffs and blast beats to keep circle pits spinning. "Hatchet to the Head", "Compelled to Lacerate" and "Savage Butchery" are some of the totally sick and brutal tracks that push this into the level of C.C.'s better albums. It's a sure bet to make everyone (even the guys with no hair!) start windmill headbanging at the push of a button. Also, check out their moshpit inciting cover of Metallica's "No Remorse" as a secret track. You never did think that song could include slam riffs, did you?
