Finally, after years of waiting...a 2nd full Brainoil album. This is some of the finest sludge to ever seep out of Oakland. It's thick and crushing, and the vocals aren't obnoxiously abrasive, so you can sit through the whole album and bang your head away. It's slow, it's fast, it's bay area sounding. If you dig Black Cobra, Indian, Eyehategod, Iron Monkey, etc and haven't heard Brainoil you've been missing something big. Now if only Secret Order Of Tusk would reform and put out a full length...
